Stand Up, Speak Out: Social Justice in South Florida

About This Project

Stand Up, Speak Out: Social Justice in South Florida

We are living in troubled times where race, racism and racial justice issues in this country is affecting law enforcement, culture, behavior, and values. Broward County Library developed the Stand Up, Speak Out: Social Justice Project in South Florida to capture this moment in time for future generations.

You are invited to express yourself and share your experiences using an original work to which you own the rights, in your choice of media. Journal entries, poems, drawing, music, videos, photos, and more are welcome to be considered for this special South Florida archive. All age groups are encouraged to participate in this unique opportunity to help document this extraordinary period in history.
