ArtLit2023: A Celebration of Art, Culture, and Stories that Connect Us
Help us celebrate the art, culture and stories that connect us by sharing your original artwork. Starting now through January 29, 2023, visit your local Broward County Library location, use the provided chalk art supplies, create your original chalk art drawing, and then submit a photo of your creation.
All age groups are encouraged to participate in this unique opportunity. Artists may tackle a variety of issues such as family, belonging, cultural identity, memory and more.
A selection of artists may be featured at ArtLit2023: A Celebration of Art, Culture, and Stories that Connect Us. This year’s theme was chosen from Broward County Library's National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Big Read 2023 books. This will be a fun-filled day where children, families and the entire community will come together and celebrate the Colombian experience through art, culture and stories that connect us.
