ArtLit2025: A Celebration of Art, Culture, and Stories that Connect Us
Help us celebrate the art, culture and stories that connect us by sharing your original artwork. Starting now through January 31, 2025, visit your local Broward County Library location, use the provided chalk art supplies, create your original chalk art drawing, and then submit a photo of your creation.
All age groups are encouraged to participate in this unique opportunity. Artists may tackle a variety of issues such as family, belonging, cultural identity, memory and more.
A small selection of artists may be featured at ArtLit2025: A Celebration of Art, Culture, and Stories that Connect Us. ArtLit2025 Festival will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 10:30AM to 3:30PM. The festival, a signature library event, will take place at North Regional/Broward College Library, 1100 Coconut Creek Boulevard, Coconut Creek, FL 33066.
2025 will mark the eighth anniversary of ArtLit, a free, popular community celebration of art and literature for all ages. This event will celebrate the culture of China with an amazing day of art, music, and community. Activities will include live music and dance performances, Chinese crafts and games, food trucks, giveaways, vendors, photo ops, book discussions and more, including free face painting, a puppetry activity, and other activities just for kids.
